Representation matters

Representation matters. At develo, we’ve always believed in making a diverse range of voices heard.

As the founder, I am a black cyclist, working in professional cycling. I know what it’s like to be at a bike race and not feel represented.

The name develo is short for develop and was born out of a desire to see the sport develop and embrace a more diverse group of people. I wanted to give underrepresented riders a platform.

During this time, we wanted to take the opportunity to lift up some of the diverse voices we’ve told on the platform. Please enjoy their stories.
